In 2003, Nanchang Education Bureau started up the project of Education Information Net.Nanchang Education Information Net has invested 20 million, and only the center framework has cost 10 million. It will build a large InformationCenter, ApplicationCenter, ManagementCenter and Long-range Education Center with 6 small-sized machines, 8 large-scale service apparatus,superpower Huawei exchange machine and the magnetic disc which can store 4T. It services whole for the Basic Education, Vacation Education, Adult Education and Teachers’Continuous Education.

   The first batch with 165 schools and education units comes into the contact with the Information Net. It supplies for 15 thousand teachers and 200 thousand students with net service. Till2010, calculate in advance, Nanchang Education Information Net will content the 95 percent requirement for our city. There will be more than 1400 thousand teachers and 700 thousand middle school students which will contact with the Education Information Net in the whole city.
